Privacy Policy

Lazo Club connects content creators with businesses in Mexico. This policy sets out what personal data we handle, why, and how you can control it.

Who is responsible

Lazo Club is the data controller. Reach us at contact@lazoclub.com.

What we collect

Email, first and last name	Creating your account, signing you in, contacting you
Password	Stored hashed with Argon2. Nobody, us included, can read it back
Profile photo	Showing your profile to the other side of a collaboration
Instagram, TikTok and YouTube handles and follower counts	Self-declared. They let a business assess an application and enforce minimum requirements
Venue address and its coordinates	Business accounts only. Placing the venue on the map and in city search
Collaborations, applications and contracts	Running the service and generating the contract PDF
In-app messages	Letting the two parties talk
Reviews and ratings	Public reputation on both sides
Push notification token	Sending you alerts. Removed when you turn notifications off
Venue page views	Analytics for that venue's owner
Reports and blocks	Content moderation and community safety

What we don't do. We do not sell your data. We do not run targeted advertising. We do not track your location in the background — the app never asks for location permission. We do not connect to your social accounts; we only store the handle you type in yourself.

Third parties

We share the minimum necessary with the providers that make the service work:

Brevo — transactional email (receives your address and name).
Google Firebase — push notifications (receives your device token).
Sentry — technical error reports, configured to exclude personal data.
OpenStreetMap / Nominatim — turning a street address into coordinates.
CARTO — map tiles. Opening the map sends your IP address to them.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Encrypted backups are retained 14 days (database) and 28 days (uploaded files).

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data at any time. Most of it is in your own hands: edit your profile, or use Profile → Security → Delete my account.

Deleting your account irreversibly anonymises your personal data. Collaborations and contracts already entered into are kept without your identity attached, because they are equally the other party's record and carry evidential value for them.

Changes

If we change this policy we will publish the new version at this same address and update the date above.
